I was glad to see this fits my 18 month old. Just like anything you don't know for sure until you open it up. It's just right for him and he has some room to grow. My son is tall and lean.

2. The size on the packaging reads "12 months"
And the size on the tag on the clothing reads "24 months" so I don't know what to believe. I got it as a gift for my nephew and I didn't give it to him yet, so I don't know if it will fit him or not. Otherwise it seems very nice.
