I had several of these that I used when my baby was born in January, they are great for new parents that are having trouble learning to swaddle. This also works great because you can unzip it and keeps arms down and keep baby to check or change a diaper. the plush sack is super snuggly and warm and is comfy for a sleeping baby. I also like cotton ones to wash a little easier and breath better when its not so cold.
I have a Houdini baby that could escape from a swaddled blanket as soon as you put him in it, no matter how tight you made it, so these sleep sacks worked great to keep him secure and snug as a bug without his arms coming out.

2. This is such a fantastic product!
The velboa fabric on this SleepSack makes it incredibly soft and pleasurable for my newborn to sleep in. It is well made and easy to use as well. It is warmer than the cotton version but probably not as warm as the microfiber SleepSack.

Another special thing to note is this version of the HALO SleepSack has a * removable swaddle*: you can remove the swaddling panel completely and you still have a regular SleepSack to use. This was handy because my little guy decided he didn't like his arms restrained while he was sleeping.
