1. Lovely Gift for a Baby
The spoon is as cute when held as it is when viewed. A lovely gift for an expectant mother whose child will be born with a silver spoon if not in its mouth at least in its hand. The spoon is light weight so a mother feeding her child with one hand and holding her/him with the other should have no problem. Would be fun to use.
2. Why I loved the spoon
It is exactly like the spoon that my mother used to start her children eating by themselves. The only other thing that I would have liked to been able to purchase was the "pusher" that went along with the toddler's set. The youngster used the "pusher" to push his/her food onto the spoon so that their hands were not used. (English style of eating! No hands on the food.
