1. Lovely Dress for Photos and Parties
We purchased this dress for our 7 month old daughter for family pictures. It is much lovelier in person than the photo conveys. She looked really pleased when I showed her how she looked in the mirror so I am going to say that she likes it too. The 12 month size was fine for her (she is 90th percentile in height and 50th percentile in weight for a 7 month girl). I think it would fit an average sized baby of 10 or 11 months but maybe order the next size up if your little one is significantly above average in weight or height and over 10 months old.
There is a layer of material that somewhat scratchy between the lining and the outer layer. This layer is what helps the skirt keep the splashy full-skirted appearance. It did not seem to bother her but does require paying a little attention to keeping the satin lining pulled down when placing her in a chair or car seat.
It seems well made and the fabric and stitching is good quality. We would definitely buy it again...
